Algebra 2- Seniors!

Hopefully everyone enjoyed the trip to San Diego. First of all, there were 3 questions from Wednesday nights homework that we did not cover in class about parallel and perpendicular lines (19, 21, and 23). Students in class reviewed that today. Below is what students did in class today and the homework.

Classwork:
*Read all of page 84 and take notes. Complete problems 18, 20, and 22 from page 86.
*Complete problems 1-10 from page 1011

Homework:
**Review notes taken in class titled “Relations and Functions” from Chapter 2.1 for Quiz on Friday
**Bring book

Make sure you complete these assignments for class tomorrow.

Algebra 2- Joshua Tree students

Hope everyone had a great time at Joshua Tree! Now time for business. On Wednesday, the class learned about Pascal's Triangle and the Binomial Theorem. These are difficult topics at first but once you know the pattern and practice some problems then you will get the hang of it.

Below I have listed the assignments given. Make sure to complete the assignments given on Wednesday and Friday

Wednesday-
pg. 695 #19, 24-28
Challenge Questions- 32-35

Thursday-
Students received a worksheet given in class. Students that went to Joshua Tree will not be held responsible for completing this.

Friday-
Read 10.3 (pg. 698-701)
Bring books covered

To help you complete Wednesday's homework, use the following website for additional help aside from 10.2 in the book. Read the first two sections titled "Introduction to Pascal's Triangle" and "Algebraic Expansions."

Remember completing the challenge questions are how you score yourself a 5 for homework. Have a great weekend!
Welcome to the 2009-2010 academic school year at Environmental Charter High School. The website will be used to provide more information and additional resources for students. For example, the 10th graders went to Joshua tree this week and I informed them that I would post the assignments and important information to know for Monday. Students and parents can also post comments and/or questions on my blog. Hope everyone has a great school year!
